Salt is probably more popular than sugar in our diets. Chances are, you’ve heard a lot of bad things about salt, like – it’s not good for you! However, while there are reasons to avoid table salt,  if we avoid salt altogether, we would experience maybe the same amount of health issues in the opposite way. So, too much is a problem and too little is also a problem when it comes to salt intake.

The problem with salt today is that it has been stripped of its natural form by manufacturers and in many cases their actions can cause harm to our health. Look for the unrefined, unprocessed or natural ones. These are not bleached and contain nutrients in their natural form.

Summing it up, there are many reasons to avoid table salt, mainly because of the health problems it cause. Salt is important for our body to function but as we all know too much salt is can be deadly.
